It is 10:55 AM and I just woke up....and for the first time in 2 years...OMG! HINDI AKO POST DUTY!/hindi holiday at WALANG OPD/bumagyo ngayon at clerk pa ako....it is simply...MAY 1,2010! OMG! ahahahaha.
hindi pa actually nagsisink in sakin ang reality na tapos na ang medschool. oh, how I've dreamed of this moment! ahahaha. lalo na nung nag-nenega nega ako dati nung OB ward duty ako at ka-mingle ko ang crocs! ahahahaha. pero nakakalungkot din pala sya...haha.
kahapon na yata ang pinakamasayang araw sa buhay naming mga intern! parang pagnagkakasalubong kayo ng kapwa intern mo at any point in PGH (or outside) ay napapasmile ka ng BONGGANG BONGGA...slash kahit ngayon mo lang siya nakita ang PGI na ito ever in your internship life ay mapapasabi ka ng CONGRATS! ahahahaha. sobrang bagal ko kahapon kumilos...cause you know, april 30,2010 is a friday...and technically shift out na dapat kami ng thursday...BUTHHHHH...dahil leap year. may extra day...bigla.
may pa-announce announce pa kami sa PA system ng aming activities for the day...pero medyo nalungkot kami kasi sana INTERNS nalang ang nag-announce for more FEELINGS...e nakakatawa kasi yung PA announcer person...parang ang inaannounce niya pa rin ay ang favorite niyang...Attention...CAR OWNER of plate number chuchuchuchu... e ang sinasabi naman niya ay, you are all invited to IGNITE...interns sunugan 2010...in pure flat affect no feelings voice ahahaha.
tawang tawa ako na kasama pa sa aming activities for the day ang last day at MESS HALL! ahahaha. let's all go to MH for lunch one last time....though hindi ako nakapunta dahil stuck ako sa PACU...nabalitaan ko na...CHAKA ang pagkain. HAHAHAHA! TINIK-filled fish for more...dissection! AHAHAHA. so nadisappoint daw ang mga tao dahil walang padespedida samin ang dietary department ahahahaha. bkit daw dati nung bday ni alfiler lechon ang ulam?!?! ahahaha.
so habang ang batchmates naming iba ay naglulunch sa MH kami naman sa PACU ay nagcocountdown na din till the time we are off! OMG. the thought of NEVER MONITORING again in PACU is the greatest thing in the UNIVERSE! ahahha. at 1 pm, excited na excited ng bumaba ang unang intern ng surg...at 2 pm, excited na ring umalis ang OB intern...at pagpatak ng 4 pm...IT'S MY TUUUUUURN!!!! (cue in music from coney reyes on camera ahahahaha) goodbye PACU FOREVER! hahahaha. i sooooooooooo love it.
now to cram for mass dahil kami daw ang kakanta. OMG.445 pm na and our 2 medchoir batchmates are still...on the road from commed. haha. good luck. ended internship with a mass which felt like a mini-retreat with matching hagulgulan sa gilid. hahahahaha. how do you say goodbye indeed?!?!
then nagsimula na kami mag sun-dance para tumigil ang ulaan. OMG. it cannoth rain for it is time to BUUUUUUURN!!!!! ahahaha. our most awaited moment...to burn all those who made us miserable. though na-sad ako na walang crocs na sinunog, narealize namin kung bakit hindi sila naisama...SOBRANG DAMING individual pagnenega about them na hindi enough yung votes for one croc to win...at since mabait class namin at ayaw mag-generalize...hindi daw pwedeng sunugin as a whole ang sanlibutan ng CROCS. ahahahahaha.pinakanakakatawa din ang 2010 criteria for sunog.... (as said during sunugan):

ahahahahahaha. at dahil dun number 1 talaga si H mole! ahahaahaha. pero for me, funniest testimonial goes to our number 9 sa sunog list...yung nagrefer ng periorbital laceration sa ENT...as in EYES,NOSE,THROAT!!!!!!! ahahahahahahahaha. HAHAHAHAHA. at ang start ng testimonial about her na itago natin sa pangalang...JUMANJI ay...
"mahirap talaga mag-interpret ng mga ACRONYM. sa dami ng acronym sa med, minsan mahirap talaga i-decipher kung ano sila...pero UTANG NA LOOB, kung residente ka na at hindi mo alam na ang ibig sabihin ng ENT ay ewan ko nalang sa yo!"
ahahahahahaha. sabagay nagtuturf nga siya sa ACU ng mga walang BP! nakakatakot sya maging doktor. what a LOSER. ang saya saya naming lahat na nasunog siya! harharhar. that's for making our lives in TRIAGE hard....ikaw ang TRIAGE OFFICER so dapat hindi yung intern ang hayaan mong magTURF kung kitang kita naman na HINDI katurf turf ang pasyente at TAMAD KA LANG!!!!! hahahahaha. sana awayin sya lagi ng mga POD! ahahahaha.
also honored those who made our lives easy! mabuhay si manong sa acu na mabilis at laging andyan para magtulak ng stretcher at O2 tank with us. our interns monitors na super nice and of course our very own service senior...si BOSING! iba ka! number 2 talaga!!!!:) IM was super fun and up till the very end no other rotation measured up to the learning and fun we had. awwwwwww. umaaaaaaaaaarte. buti talaga binigyan mo kami ng papel for census! ahaha.
also honored the pretty and gwapo beings in PGH. hahahaha. may ganito ba noon ang ibang batch or kami lang may pauso nito? ahaha.
and in PURE NEW YEAR's EVE fashion...ay nagcountdown kami till May 1, 2010! OMG. FOR REAL. tapos na ang internship. tapos na ang med. hindi na kami students. WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD. ahahaahaha. pero syempre, like the 5 stages of death...we were ALL STILL IN DENIAL. ahahaha. ang accepted lang na fact ay HINDI na kami papasok, magmomonitor, mag-eendorse (for those na ndi duty), magb-BE/IV, mag C-CI duty, NICU manong duty, REHAB call center duty, OBAS' "mentos-lang-ang kinakain" duty, ER "dirty and smelly in 5 seconds" duty, TRIAGE!!!!!! for the time being. It's nice to have a break. for us regular interns, the relief of not doing all these was so palpable...we were so EUPHORIC! ahahaha.
aaaaaaaaaaaand after 10 M pictures later and sigawan to the point of vocal nodules ay naalala ko after forever na may dala akong payong (dahil umulan earlier) at nung hinanap ko na.... sinabi sakin ng aking batchmate na they BURNED everything in sight....clerks progress notes....lumang mga census....mga lab request....OBAS flags...CPGs na luma...INCLUDING my semi-new, not really used payong! booooooooo. na-sad ako. to the point of tears. hahahaha.
so now i have all the time in the world to internet....buth...i find myself craving the company of the people i've been with for the past 5 years...nakakamiss pala talaga. *insert drama music* ahahahaha. ang arte ndi ko kaya.
